The star image in this video is a group of guys who thought of a great idea to create a music video and dance on treadmills. Its shows them as fun people who know how to have a good time.
The fans of OK Go greatly admire the band thinking that they had a genius idea with creating their music video and they seem to continue to respect and admire them due to the fact that they don't take the normal route of Video Production. One of their sisters choreographs the dances and films it...and then they upload it to You Tube.
During a stars career they collect and build up the love and respect from their fans which gives them a high position and they can act on that by giving their fans something in return such as free giveaways signed merchandise, such as coffee mugs, T-shirts, hats etc . this is advertising the band even more and also giving the fans an opportunity to wear the colours of their favourite band.
